Verdict

RUN FOR PAT stepped up on his reappearance when third to a useful sort at Thurles in February, so has to be marked down as the one to beat with further improvement likely in a weaker contest here. Champagne Town showed ability in a Leopardstown bumper last month and should be capable of making his presence felt over this longer trip on his hurdles debut, while Golas Tiep may prove best of the rest.

  1. RUN FOR PAT (IRE)
  2. CHAMPAGNE TOWN
  3. GOLAS TIEP (FR)
