Verdict

John McConnell has a very healthy 3-8 record with his runners here over the years and his BELLA UNION gets the nod to build on an encouraging opening run at Carlisle. Ruby Island and Capel Green are others who arrive on the back of encouraging debut runs, while Top Cloud won a point bumper last month and would also enter the reckoning should the betting speak in his favour.
