SHANTY ALLEY is yet to complete this season, but he was thoroughly progressive last term and remained in contention in the Tommy Whittle for long enough to suggest all ability remains intact. He looks well-treated now and should go well. Cases can be made for several others, with Favori de Sivola, Poppa Poutine and Ede'iffs Elton also in contention.
