Verdict

GINGER MAIL looked to be going just about best when unseating his rider at Kelso 3 weeks ago so compensation may well be forthcoming here. Ridgeway isn't short of speed and it will be interesting to see how he copes with what is likely to be a stiffer test of stamina this time, with Cartonne another to consider.
