A competitive novices' handicap chase with the vote in favour of GERICAULT ROQUE. A low-mileage sort, he shaped encouragingly when staying on for third behind a handicap blot on chase debut at Wetherby in October and this longer trip may bring about further improvement. Mario de Pail, Sizable Sam and Faustinovick are a trio of others to consider.
