Verdict

BEACON EDGE was the best of these over hurdles and shaped with plenty of encouragement when second in a novice at Down Royal on his first go at chasing, so he's preferred to The Bosses Oscar, who also has a bigger effort in him over fences. Stratum, trying this discipline for the first time, should be well schooled by his top yard, so his claims can't be ignored.
