Verdict

FLYIN' SOLO ran out an impressive winner at York on his only previous try on a soft surface and this low-mileage 4-y-o is fancied to return from a break in style for his shrewd yard. Sam Cooke has been rejuvenated since the headgear came off and can go close after disappointing in this race 12 months ago. Easy Redcar scorer Mr Curiosity and in-form duo First Light and Farhan need considering too.

  1. FLYIN' SOLO
  2. SAM COOKE (IRE)
  3. MR CURIOSITY
