Baron De Midleton (7/4), Cooper's Cross (3/1), Sounds Russian (7/1), Frimeur De Lancray (7/1), Heartbreak Kid (12/1), Da Vinci Hand (16/1), Chesterville (16/1), Arthur Mac (20/1), Enfin Phil (25/1), Barnay (33/1)

A competitive novices' handicap chase to finish in which it may pay to take a chance on COOPER'S CROSS. Despite finishing last of 6 on chase debut over shorter here recently, that effort wasn't devoid of promise, particularly with a view to going back up in trip and better can be expected here. Baron De Midleton and Da Vinci Hand are others to consider, along with the returning Heartbreak Kid.
