Verdict

A fascinating Feilden. YOUTH SPIRIT wasn't seen out after posting a fine third in Goodwood's Vintage Stakes in July but this longer trip will suit him well and Andrew Balding's likeable colt is taken to continue his fine progress. Both Royal Champion and Arturo Toscanini looked colts of high promise when making winning debuts last backend and are fancied to chase him home.
