Verdict

Given that he was badly hampered by a faller 2 out, ASHINGTON did well to finish as close as he did when third in a competitive contest at Cheltenham last month. The 5-y-o is clearly on a workable mark and gets the nod ahead of Lunar Jet, who has won 3 on the bounce on the Flat in recent weeks and should be a force back in this sphere. Mick Maestro is best of the rest.

  1. ASHINGTON
  2. LUNAR JET
  3. MICK MAESTRO (FR)
