Verdict

VERMILION CLIFFS made a promising start to his career when narrowly touched off at Leopardstown last week and has to be considered the one to beat with improvement expected. Fil The Power seemed stretched by 1½m at the Curragh last week, so needs considering back down in trip, especially with his previous effort at Fairyhouse backed up by the clock. Bluebeard's Castle may prove best of the rest.

  1. VERMILION CLIFFS (IRE)
  2. FIL THE POWER
  3. BLUEBEARD'S CASTLE (USA)
