Plenty of in-form horses here, although most are handicapped up to their best. That may or may not be true of Awesomedude, but he's on a four-timer and it would be churlish to crab his chances. He's high on the shortlist as a result, but a chance is taken on ASHAZURI, who has been below her best in recent starts, but it's easy to find excuses, and she's just 1lb higher than when winning the first of three handicaps last summer. Carp Kid is almost always thereabouts in handicaps, and can make the frame again, his growing losing streak notwithstanding .
