MAUREEN'S STAR won at this track on her penultimate start and is taken to score again against a rag-tag mob of weak handicap chasers. The seven-year-old took 13 starts to land her first race but she did it in good style. Connections could not resist trying to take advantage of her lenient hurdle mark last time. That backfired but back over fences she could score again. Mary Fields was disastrous on her chase debut here two starts ago but put in a much better performance last time at Tramore (albeit in a weak race). If she shows more progress then she could go well. Watch out for any market for Mr Jacaranda. If his jumping has improved he will be a danger.
