Forecast

Gherkin (3/1), Some Nightmare (3/1), Krafla (5/1), Redzone (13/2), Giant Steps (7/1), Vintage Port (14/1), Red Hottie (20/1), My Sister Jo (20/1), Hands Down (20/1), Jay Me Lo (28/1), Momentum (40/1)

Verdict
SOME NIGHTMARE and Giant Steps both shaped encouragingly on their respective first starts on British soil at Chepstow and Chelmsford this month and preference is for John O'Shea's colt. He made his way home strongly after a tardy start and looks likely to appreciate this extra furlong. The booking of Adam Kirby to ride the latter is, however, a positive in his favour. Gherkin might be one to find a place.
