With plenty of rain forecast this weekend the ground may come in favour of last term's C&D heavy ground scorer GEORGE OF HEARTS on whom the 3lb claim of the champion apprentice could prove very useful. The dark horse is top weight Repaupo who is thoroughly unexposed on handicap debut and could be quite decent if he is over whatever caused him to miss all last season. Strawberry Jack was in good form during the winter and if carrying forward that improvement to the turf is a player, while Modakhar would not be out of it if back to his best following wind surgery.
