Irish raider LA CHANTEUSE was decent in bumpers and gave a strong hint she'll pay her way over hurdles when fourth in a big field at Navan recently. This longer trip will suit and she can get the better of The Ferry Master who will appreciate the return to this grade having been outclassed at Haydock last time. Ulverston is not out of it but would have to surpass his penultimate effort when second at Doncaster to land the spoils.
