BARBROOK STAR was the winner of this race 12 months ago and he can put a disappointing effort when pulled up last time out behind him to register another victory in this competitive staying handicap chase. Le Boizelo ran well under this amateur rider when third on his most recent outing and he can finish one place better by taking second place ahead of Quite By Chance who has shown a liking for this venue in the past.
