Verdict

Not an easy contest to get a handle on with little Fibresand form on display and a few of these returning from breaks. Sur Mer has nothing to prove on the surface but she didn’t look totally straightforward here last time when beaten in a small-field event. Rodin has the best form on offer but 5f has looked sharp enough for him of late and he wouldn’t want to get behind here. Northern Queen ought to be able to improve on her 2yo form but a chance is taken on CAPLA SPIRIT in a first-time visor. His juvenile form suggested he could win at this trip and trainer Gay Kelleway is in good form at the moment; he’s a sporting selection against the main two neither of which have convincing profiles.
  1. Capla Spirit
  2. Rodin
  3. Sur Mer
