Verdict

Some interesting sorts making their handicap debuts here including Homer who hasn’t quite lived up to his useful Flat form so far over hurdles but this better surface and handicap company could well see him make a big step forward. Mabela has some solid handicap form to her name and there may be more to come from her whilst Garbanzo is another making his handicap debut who needs respecting. Newbury winner FAIR KATE looks the pick of the field though having had her win last time franked by the second and she showed a really good attitude last time. Notre Ami and bottom weight Horatio Star are another two that should noted in dispatches.
  1. Fair Kate
  2. Homer
  3. Mabela
