A fine race and one where it isn’t easy to rule out many of the runners but with the Venetia Williams yard in fine form YALLTARI is chosen to take this prize and add to the trainers 18% strike rate with her handicap chasers at the track in November/December. It won’t be easy though with opponents like Jerrysback who didn’t run at all badly on his Newbury return and the ever-improving Crievehill in opposition, the latter may not want an out-and-out slog. One who would love a real test of stamina is Mister Malarky judged on his Ladbrokes Trophy run he’s not far away from finding his good form of last year. Kildisart is another who can’t be ignored and a market move should be noted.
