The hurdles newcomer Flintrock has definite place claims given the level of ability he showed on the flat, coupled with the fact he has placed form on ground with give in it. Bally Conor holds obvious claims, given some of the smart form he has to his name including when runner-up to the exciting Imperial Aura over hurdles last season. However, he may be vulnerable to an improver in the shape of KEEP WONDERING who produced a highly promising display on hurdles debut when second at Aintree. This looks a less competitive affair, which can enable him to get off the mark at the second attempt for the in-form Phillip Hobbs yard.
