This drop in class gives him a great chance of recording his maiden victory over fences. Present Ranger has been in excellent form over hurdles this year and although he did not make a great start to his chase career, this assignment is easier so he has a good chance of going close, while much more can be expected of Ballyhill on his second start of the season over this longer distance than his recent effort at Kelso.
