Verdict

The Gordon Elliott yard have a fine record at this meeting in the last four years and their representative here, MOUNT IDA can land the opener under jockey Davy Russell. The daughter of Yeats can build on her good second of 12 on hurdling debut at Punchestown in February and a win in a Wexford bumper when last seen in April. Kalanisi Og for trainer Willie Mullins can emerge as the biggest danger, another yard who have a solid record at this meeting since 2015. Kilcarry View won a Sligo maiden over 2m1f in August, only to be disqualified later, appears capable of hitting the frame while Tokyo Getaway is likely to be better than her initial hurdling starts suggest.
  1. Mount Ida
  2. Kalanisi Og
  3. Kilcarry View
