Verdict

The Dermot Weld-trained HAZEL BAY is one of the more experienced in the field. The filly posted a career best effort when finishing second of 12 beaten a short-head over C&D in February and can improve on a number of solid and consistent runs over the summer to finally get off the mark here at the seventh time of asking. The War Front colt, Globe Theatre and son of Bated Breath, Defilade appear to be clear next best with the Joseph O'Brien-trained Irradiate capable of hitting the frame should others falter.
  1. Hazel Bay
  2. Globe Theatre
  3. Defilade
