The Michael Mulvany-trained THE KING OF KELLS is clearly better than his last run at Gowran Park earlier this month, where the gelding finished well down the field over 7f, found to be 'post race normal' following tests. The drop back in trip and a return to this track are sure to be positives for the six-year-old. The improving Megans Beau finished ½L adrift of The King Of Kells on his last start here over 6f last month and can once again give the gelding plenty to think about. Convincer, for trainer Ger Lyons gets another chance to get off the mark but may have to settle for minor honours while Sweet Justice and Cobb And Co could go well at a price.
- The King Of Kells
- Megans Beau
- Sweet Justice
