Forecasts
Dundrum Wood (4/6), South Seas (9/4), Flow Away (9/2), Torrid (9/2), Present Chief (6/1), Fort Denison (16/1), Eaglehill (25/1), Reverend Jacobs (28/1), Lilypad (50/1), Wye Aye (66/1)
Some useful ex-Flat types in this and it will be interesting to see how South Seas (rated 106 at his peak) gets on in this sphere having not won since clocking up a hat-trick on his first three career starts. Reverend Jacobs is another who showed some fair form on the Flat along with Torrid although the last-named has plenty of hurdling experience to call on. The Olly Murphy yard aren’t quite firing at the moment and that casts a doubt about his expensive point-to-point purchase Dundrum Wood on his hurdling debut. PRESENT CHIEF showed that he could cope with 2m when winning on his latest bumper start and with the Jonjo O’Neill yard going well he’s taken to make a winning hurdles debut.
