ORIENTAL SPLENDOUR is a tentative selection in a difficult race to assess. The gelding ran on well to score at Beverley last time out and is clearly in good heart at present. Although on a long losing run, the time might be right for B Fifty Two to see the winner's enclosure once again. He finished runner+up in this race last season and may go one better racing off a 10lb lower mark. Suitcase 'n' Taxi is well treated on the best of his form but needs to put a poor run last time out at Thirsk behind him.
