Verdict

There are a whole host of runners in this race with live chances. Despite being winless in eight starts, Euro Implosion has been running well in defeat recently and travelled eye-catchingly to a point before being outstayed at Ripon on Monday. The unexposed duo of Isabella Brant and Moll Davis hold similar profiles. The former showed promise in maidens and starts out in handicaps with plenty of potential, while the latter made a solid handicap debut when third at Lingfield. However, preference is for MATEWAN who is lightly raced himself and posted a much more improved effort to go agonisingly close at Carlisle recently and should be able to resume his progress.
  1. Matewan

  3. Isabella Brant
