There's a lack of front runners and a small field so there is the possibility that Smile A Mile could get an uncontested lead but he needs to bounce back from a poor run. CALVADOS SPIRIT is overdue a win but he's not had many starts for this stable and is racing consistently well in some strong races, with these quicker conditions more suitable. Nicholas T is also without a win for a while but again is in form and was an eye-catching unlucky loser last time. Fayez ideally wants further so a lack of pace would be a concern but he's hard to discount following his recent run of form and rates a clear danger.
