Although it was difficult to fault the performance of the Dan Skelton-trained 9yo, he has incurred a 6lb penalty for that success and on hurdles ratings is considered 7lb inferior to Fidux. Therefore, the Alan King-trained 6yo who was a Listed winner at Ascot in November is entitled to take all of the beating with a clear round.
