Verdict

This offers a little quality on a card dominated by low-grade handicaps and a mix of AW and turf form. HARBOUR VISION needs a strongly run race even back at 1m and he’s given the impression of late that his winning spree since joining this yard isn’t over if he can cope with the return to turf (yet to win on this surface). Balgair despite the increased mark for his improved form last year still looks well enough handicapped with Glory Awaits and Majestic Moon having to break long losing runs if they are to be successful here. If there is a dark horse in the race then it’s Mandarin who hasn’t been able to hit his stride for this yard yet but one suspects is capable of better.
