Forecasts

Summer Moon (9/4), Tigerskin (11/4), Hummdinger (7/2), Purdey's Gift (9/2), Lucipherus (7/1), Mr Zoom Zoom (9/1), Hermocrates (10/1), Pop The Cork (16/1)

Verdict

This may take little winning but remains hard to solve. Humdinger was heavily backed for his handicap debut and could make amends under Jamie Spencer having pulled too hard for a claimer last time. There is no promise he will get a stronger gallop here and PURDEY'S GIFT is just preferred. Andrew Balding's charge took another step forward last time and the form looks sound with the runner-up scoring next time. Tigerskin and Pop The Cork are worth checking in the market on their seasonal return over a trip that should see them to better effect.
