Verdict

A training setback meant the impressive Honeysuckle had to miss the Cheltenham festival. The mare was a ready winner over C&D when last seen in January, taking the race by an easy 6L and may take all the beating here, but the Grade 2 form is firmly in the book from EGLANTINE DU SEUIL who came with a strong run up the hill to land the Mares' novice hurdle at the festival. The five-year-old is open to plenty of improvement and can see off any forthcoming challenge from the likes of stablemates, Salsaretta, Elfile and Robin De Carlow, while Cheltenham third Tintangle should not be easily dismissed.
