Fanfaronade (9/4), Cadeau d'Amour (3/1), Joey Boy (7/1), Kodi Dream (8/1), Spirit Kingdom (8/1), Klipperty Klopp (10/1), Duhallow Noelie (10/1), Uh Oh Chongo (12/1)
John Gosden has a strong record on the AW at Newcastle (28/80; 35%) so in theory Farfaronade should enter the reckoning on handicap debut from an opening perch of 67. However, as she's raced with plenty of enthusiasm in her races so far (and weakened) one must have some reservations about her stamina reserves over a stiff and straight 7f trip. Then again, viable alternatives aren't in ample supply either with the likes of Klipperty Klopp and Spirit Kingdom more obvious place players. Therefore, with no great conviction we'll chance the cheek-pieced Richard Fahey-trained CADEAU D'AMOUR.
- Cadeau d'Amour
- Klipperty Klopp
- Fanfaronade
