It’s always hard to write off Clayton over this C&D where he has often performed at his best but he does look rather exposed and they look to be one or two improving sorts in the field. They are headed by SHAWS CROSS who despite finding Wincanton too sharp last time still had the look of a horse on the up and he’s taken to get back to winning ways. Both Legend Of France and Cougar Kid are capable sorts but the handicapper looks to have curtailed their progress for now. If there is one lurking with intent then it’s The Major General who was given a lot to do last time and was useful on the Flat in Ireland and any market support should be noted as it should be for Future Security.
