Trautmann (5/2), Something Brewing (11/4), Donnachies Girl (4/1), Highway Robber (17/2), Grey Mist (11/1), Imperial Focus (12/1), Manomine (14/1), Hugoigo (20/1), Elite Icon (33/1), Call Me Madam (40/1), Dutch Melody (80/1), Dark And Dangerous (80/1)

Verdict

A low-key start to proceedings with not many of these having cast iron profiles over this 2m trip. TRAUTMANN puts his unbeaten Newcastle record on the line here over a trip that he does need to prove himself over ; does look as though he will stay (trainer in good form). Donnachies Girl has so failed to score this year but shaped well enough to be considered to be in the mix here especially as she features on an attractive mark. Something Brewing has already won over C&D albeit that win came under a different code but he has run well on the Flat also here. Highway Robber has ground to make up on Trautmann but he does handle this surface at least and his form over this C&D reads well enough.
  1. Trautmann
  2. Donnachies Girl
  3. Highway Robber
