Forecasts

Anemoi (2/5), Winston C (5/2), Red Royalist (5/1), Boomarang (7/1), Musical Slave (8/1), Prophets Prayer (11/1), Outofthequestion (33/1), Infiniti (100/1), Majestic Man (200/1)

Verdict

Ascot winner ANEMOI has a solid chance to follow up that success here despite a 7lb penalty in a race that on paper looks weaker than that contest. There were areas for improvement in his jumping and that could help negate the penalty. Winston C is most feared of his rivals with Harry Fry's runner a very useful flat performer who should appreciate the likely sound surface. Also on the shortlist is Boomarang who looks the most likely of two from Emma Lavelle's yard based on his Newton Abbot success in June.
  1. Anemoi
  2. Winston C
  3. Boomarang
