Take A Break (7/4), John Williams (11/4), Reverse The Charge (11/4), Seven Devils (5/1), Charlie Snow Angel (6/1), Chateau Chinon (8/1), Cool Valley (17/2), Kisumu (16/1), My Idea (25/1)
Reverse The Charge saves his very best for Hexham and should have the beating off his old foe Cool Valley based upon last month's C&D evidence, but the overnight forecast isn't favourable and connections will be hoping that the track misses the worst of the rain in order to maximise his chance. Therefore, the safest option is the ground versatile JOHN WILLIAMS. Although most effective at Musselburgh (there will be options for him there next month), he often runs best fresh and was a narrow winner of this race off a 7lb lower mark in 2017. Of the remainder, very little else makes any major appeal; albeit Seven Devils is worth keeping on side.
