Forecasts

Nayati (7/2), Cubswin (7/2), Comrade Conrad (4/1), Grand Sancy (11/2), Padleyourowncanoe (6/1), Knight Destroyer (6/1), Mercenaire (6/1), Phoenix Dawn (9/1), Ballywood (16/1)

Padleyourowncanoe and Comrade Conrad command respect at the opposite end of the weights, while recent winner Phoenix Dawn has fitness on his side and Mercenaire may be capable of better than he has shown. Stable companions Ballywood and Nayati, Cubswin and Knight Destroyer will also have their supporters, but GRAND SANCY may be the answer. He promised more than he delivered last season, but has undergone a wind operation and lurks on a potentially-favourable mark.
