Pym (11/10), Umndeni (5/2), Deyrann de Carjac (7/2), Volcano (9/1), Duc De Beauchene (25/1), Realms Of Fire (25/1), Auld Sod (33/1), The Boom Is Back (66/1), Some Can Dance (66/1), Demon Fou (80/1)
Deyrann de Carjac sets a decent standard, but may be facing a stern test conceding weight to one or two of these rivals. Volcano looks a likely type for his strong trainer/jockey combination, but the two which make most appeal are PYM and Umndeni. The latter impressed when winning a bumper on debut, but the selection has long been held in high regard and it is perhaps significant that he starts off in the same contest which the owner's Altior won in 2015.
