Verdict

Not an overly taxing contest, so the rather obvious one is the Simon Walker-ridden 3yo filly BUBBLE AND SQUEAK. She has contested some competitive races at Ascot (Class 3) since winning at Goodwood in May, and she bounced back to her best when going down narrowly on the AW at Chelmsford latest. Raised another 2lb, the handicapper is gradually making her life tougher, but she looks more than capable of seeing off these rivals. A potential danger is the top-weight Rotherwick who tends to excel over this 1m1f trip, and has the perceived benefit of newly applied cheekpieces.
  1. Bubble And Squeak
  2. Rotherwick
  3. Biotic
