Forecasts

Gordon Lord Byron (4/7), Battle Of Jericho (15/8), Mr Scarlet (10/1)

Verdict

Gordon Lord Byron is the obvious form pick and he continues to defy his age, just giving best to Expert Eye last time at York. That was over 7f though and down in trip in a three-runner race, things might not fall perfectly for him. BATTLE OF JERICHO wasn't disgraced in the Nunthorpe last time and, despite giving weight, his younger legs might get the job done when the spring for the finish. Mr Scarlet is a fair performer but may play the support role.
  1. Battle Of Jericho
  2. Gordon Lord Byron
  3. Mr Scarlet
