Verdict

Ballet Red surprised everyone when almost winning on debut at 50/1 at Kempton and Harry Dunlop's filly is likely to go off favourite here. A chance is taken however on Mark Johnston's WEST END CHARMER. This colt by Nathaniel was perhaps a little too free on debut at Goodwood but Johnston usually targets his best two-year-olds at that meeting so it is suspected that this one shows plenty at home. Robert Fitzroy is another who has a good bit to find but Michael Bell's two-year-old suggested he would benefit greatly for that experience.
