Quite a few interlocking form lines here with a few of these having met in the past and plenty of course form on offer. HAMMERSLY LAKE had a couple of these rivals – Shantou Village and Wadswick Court – behind when running well to be 3rd at Uttoxeter race last time. The form of that race looks strong and off the same mark Charlie Longsdon’s runner is taken to confirm that form in the hope that he takes to this track. Alderbrook Lad is a former dual winner of this race but whilst he should run well it looks a more competitive affair this year. Sizing Platinum looks a danger on his Newton Abbot form although his mark has risen rapidly now as has that of recent winner Princeton Royale.
