Verdict

GLOBAL CITIZEN can make a winning debut for this yard following a couple of promising efforts over hurdles so far. Now trained by Ben Pauling the selection finished behind the classy On The Blind Side on debut and can go one better than when second at Huntingdon subsequently with previous hurdles winner Ashkoul taken to finish second under a penalty today. Gibeno proved a disappointment in a bumper on debut but can claim third here having had a wind op in the interim period.
