A fitting line-up for a Supreme Novices' Trial and this should be an interesting contest. CLAIMANTAKINFORGAN sets the standard after his Ascot success and will be short in the betting for the champion trainer, who won this race a year ago. He sets the standard and will be expected to warm up for Cheltenham by making it three from three over hurdles. He'll have to on his guard however, with Beyond The Clouds having recorded an impressive C&D success in November to protect his own unbeaten record over jumps. This is tougher, but he should improve again. Ballyvic Boru scored on hurdles bow at Perth in the summer and has been off since, he got the better of Beyond The Clouds to win his bumper here and is worth paying some attention to now. Simply The Betts has shaped well behind decent opposition lately and rates a bigger danger than dual Taunton winner Brahms De Clermont.
