GLOBAL SPIRIT put in a career best performance when finishing runner-up on handicap debut last time and with a good draw today Ed Dunlop's charge can register his first win at the fifth time of asking in the opening contest on the card. Dream Malfunction showed plenty of promise for her previous trainer in Ireland can claim second on her debut for this yard following a break while the poorly drawn High Seas, a good second at Newmarket last time can claim third on this occasion.
