Forecasts

Firmount Gent (11/8), Bubsy Burbidge (4/1), Midnight Walk (9/2), Bajardo (5/1), Fair Frank (12/1), Snow Rescue (20/1), Robin Why Not (25/1)

MIDNIGHT WALK looks likely to be granted a soft lead in this opening contest and Donald McCain's charge can notch her third victory by taking this opening contest. The selection makes her chasing debut today and can get the better of Bajardo who is attempting to complete a double having won on his final outing of last season. Of the remainder the veteran Firmount Gent is relatively lightly raced under rules for one his age and he is taken to finish third.
