Just the four runners for this intriguing race where tactics will be a factor. Stosur will make the running and, with three rivals who like to appear late, he could poach an unassailable lead. French is worth another try at this trip now that she is in better form. She is due to go up in the weights after this but there is a fear she may find this company too strong. Likewise Hellfire is yet to prove herself outside class five/six but arrives in good shape. As a strong traveller she will be suited by the presence of Stosur. SIMPLY ME has won four races this winter and her last run suggested she was ready for a break. All her victories have come at a lower level but she outclassed her rivals in the latest of these. Fresh from a break and, with the yard back amongst the winners in the past couple of weeks, she will take some beating in a race where she will get a good pace to aim at.
