Verdict

MODULUS and Manwell are likely to 'battle' this out with the former appearing to have much the stronger constitution based upon last week's Newcastle evidence. Modulus showed that he's equally effective over this shorter trip, and despite the combination of a 7lb penalty and slightly faster ground, he remains very much on the up and is the one to beat.
